Ankle fractures in children

The Management of ANkle fractures in CHildren: development of a core Outcome set and the feasibility of a Randomised controlled trial ( ANCHOR) is a feasibility trial looking at the best management of children aged between 5-15 with non-operative ankle fractures. Patient are randomised to supportive bandage versus removable splint versus walking below knee cast.  Patient reported outcomes are collected at baseline, 2 weeks, 6weeks and 12 weeks following injury.
